Data Quality. Keeping Facts Flowing

Decisions can only be as good as the information you have available. What happens when your data is low quality? A look back at the causes is a must. Without finding out where the mistakes are coming from, it becomes increasingly difficult to see the reality clearly. And at some point, it becomes almost impossible to continue steering the company successfully.

Thomas Goettsche has investigated the entry points for "dirty data" - such as false processes or orphan files - and can help you avoid them. But not forever. Wherever data is collected, there will eventually be imprecision. It's just important to be aware of that fact and regularly press reset so that the data stream stays clean. And so that decisions are taken based on a solid foundation.
